The owners of AluCraft America are Jeffrey and Deborah Cottle. Jeff enlisted in the Army at the age of Seventeen. He served in the 3rd Armor Division, Germany as support Infantry. His first unit was the 2nd Battalion of the 36th Infantry (Ranger). Ironically, his great grandfather, General Zachary Taylor, started this unit in the state of Texas. After that, it was off to the 82nd Airborne, Home of Americas Best. Next was the 1st Infantry Division in Korea and the DMZ for a year. Jeff's final assignment was the Special Warfare Command in Ft. Lewis, Washington. By this time Jeff had risen to the rank of Staff Sergeant. The Army taught Jeff Cottle discipline, dedication, attention to detail and leadership, and all vital traits in the business world. In 1986 Jeff returned to the civilian sector. Since returning Jeff has been involved with four different companies, all very successful. Each of them was a stepping-stone to AluCraft America.

While in Germany Jeff saw Rolling Shutters for the first time. They were on the finest homes. Little did he know that many years later he would be building and installing a much-improved version on America's finest homes.

Deborah Cottle (nee Pearce) came a wonderful family. She is the youngest of eight children. Her father Mr. David Pearce retired from the US Air Force. Deborah's mother, a French Canadian was a loving and dedicated mom. She loved and cared for each of her children, daily sacrificing her own personal needs. David and Doris were truly in love. Their relationship exemplified the word commitment.

Deborah and Jeff have six wonderful children. Jeff says from the moment he met her, he knew she was the girl of his dreams. With in two weeks, Jeff asked her to marry him. It was the best thing to ever happen to him. Deborah is kind, trustworthy and a totally dedicated wife and mother. Rarely does she exhibit anger. She explores ways to find resolutions. She is down to earth and always puts the needs of others before her own. She works 12 to 15 hours a day. This leaves little time for herself. Deborah not only says I love you she shows it every day!

Jeff and Deborah have four cornerstones in their life, God-Country-Family-Integrity. Jeff and Deborah want to associate with the type of people that reflect the values they hold dear. This is exactly why Mr. Dale Clark, Vice President, and his wonderful wife Pat are part of AluCraft America. They are more than friends and business associates; they are considered family.

In 2005 Mr. Spottswood Graves joined the AluCraft America family. Spottswood has lived on the Outer banks for over 25 years. He grew up on a farm in Virginia and was graduated from Virginia Tech. He has extensive experience in the construction trades and is a well respected member of the community. He and his wife Roberta have two children and one granddaughter.
